Information about the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation
PPWR is an upcoming EU regulation that sets new requirements to reduce and prevent the amount of packaging waste in the EU. In this video we go over the goals of PPWR and summarise what the main changes will be and when they will be implemented.The PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation), which is formally expected to be decided in the EU Parliament at the end of 2024, is a regulation that sets new requirements to reduce and prevent the amount of packaging waste in the EU. The regulation shall, among other things, ensure that all packaging on the European market is recyclable or reusable.
In order for you as a producer to get a better understanding of what this means for you, we have recorded a short video to go through the goals of PPWR and summarise what the main changes will be and when they will be implemented.
