Hi Mikael Edenqvist, can you tell us more about the new customer portal?
NPA launched its new customer portal in mid-September. We wanted to find out how everything had gone, so we took the opportunity to ask Mikael Edenqvist, Head of Producer Onboarding & Services, a few questions. Why have we developed a new customer portal?
– We want to make things easier for our customers. Doing the right thing should be easy. The new customer portal opens up a range of new possibilities, both for our customers and for us. It provides a central hub for information, questions and answers, reporting and follow-up. Over time, we plan to expand the portal with information and tools that will make producer responsibility easier and more straightforward for our customers.
What is the biggest difference between the new and the old portal? What are the advantages compared with the previous version?
– The reporting forms have been given a completely new look. We have integrated guidance and support directly into the reporting process, and it is now much easier to follow up on reports and invoice documentation. The portal also contains a wealth of information and recorded videos for our customers.
How has the launch gone?
– Better than expected, but entirely in line with our plans. We opened the customer portal on 15 September, and thousands of users have already logged in to report volumes and explore the content in various ways.
What feedback have we received?
– Users find it easy to log in, and having everything in one place makes the process more efficient. It is also much easier to follow up on invoices and previous reports. Many people say it feels like coming home to NPA.
What happens next? What are the next steps?
– The launch activities will continue throughout October, and we are monitoring the reporting process for the third quarter.
We will conduct our annual customer survey in early 2027 to find out more about what our customers would like to see in the new customer portal. Our goal is to make it easier to use, clearer, more efficient and more useful to our customers.
Thank you, Mikael! It will be exciting to follow the portal’s development in the months ahead. The new customer portal seems to offer many benefits, not only by making reporting easier, but also by serving as a knowledge hub where customers can find answers to their questions and get tips and advice on packaging design.
