New training supports better waste sorting in apartment buildings
There is now a digital training course that provides knowledge and concrete advice to get the sorting points in apartment buildings in order and create better conditions for residents to sort their waste correctly. The e-learning course Din roll i källsorteringen (Your role in sorting waste) is aimed at property managers and environmental managers, but also at property owners or others who are responsible for or manage sorting points in apartment buildings.
The course is digital and free of charge and provides both basic knowledge of legal requirements and concrete examples to make waste management work in practice. The aim is to get residents to sort their waste in a way that works to a greater extent.
– That households know how to sort waste at source and have the opportunity to do so in a simple way affects how much material is recycled. It should be obvious to use the resources that already exist. Well-functioning recycling is a prerequisite for a circular economy, says Einar Ahlström, materials specialist at Näringslivets Producentansvar.
The training can be started, paused and resumed whenever it suits you. Supplementary support material offers checklists and links to more facts and data.
The course is a collaboration between Avfall Sverige, Fastighetsägarna, Sveriges Allmännytta and Näringslivets Producentsansvar.
