We at Näringslivets Producentansvar have chosen to harmonise our design guidelines for plastic packaging with RecyClass guidelines to make it easier for producers who have products on several markets. Our recycling manual, which is based on scientific testing methods, is updated in accordance with the latest RecyClass guidelines.
”We see several benefits in harmonising our guidelines with RecyClass. One of the most significant is the opportunity to be part of, and collaborate within, a system focused on establishing well-founded design guidelines for increased material recycling. Through the harmonisation, we gain access to insights from ongoing test programs and the opportunity to collaborate with other actors within the RecyClass network. This collaboration enables us to contribute to and benefit from the development of common and scientifically supported guidelines for recyclable packaging on a European level,” says Malin Malmberg, Material Specialist at Näringslivets Producentansvar.
