Webinar: How will Sweden reach the recycling targets for packaging by 2030?
Malin Forsgren from 2050 Consulting summarizes the report 'Recycling targets for packaging 2030 – How do we reach them?', highlighting the key findings, conclusions, and recommendations. She also provides a clear picture of the current situation and outlines what we need to do together to contribute to increased recycling.Despite stricter regulations and political waste reforms, it appears that Sweden will not meet the EU’s recycling targets for plastic and paper packaging by 2030. This is shown in a new report produced by the sustainability agency 2050 Consulting on behalf of Näringslivets Producentansvar.
The report points to solutions, but achieving them requires everyone involved in handling packaging – producer responsibility organisations, manufacturers, municipalities, suppliers, businesses, and households – to roll up their sleeves even further.
We have produced a webinar to summarize the report’s key findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Listen as Malin Forsgren from 2050 Consulting provides a clear picture of the current situation and outlines what we need to do together to help increase recycling.
